Trauma-Informed Grief & Life Coaching: What It Is and How It Helps

I help you move through life - no matter what stage you’re in.
Whether you’re navigating grief, loss, change or just feel like your life doesn’t fit anymore, this work meets you where you are.

I focus on the soul of who you are as you move through life transitions and the in-between spaces that don’t always have a clear name.

I walks alongside you.
Someone who listens deeply, reflects truthfully and supports you as you begin to find your way again.

In this work, I’m not here to change your past or rush your process.
I’m here to help you move through it…with honesty, compassion and deep support.

Together, we begin to make sense of what’s been lost, reconnect with who you are now, and slowly start to rebuild a life that feels meaningful and true to you.

I will support you. I will challenge you when needed.
And I will hold you accountable…not from pressure, but from a place of honoring what you say you want for your life…and also work at your pace.

Because while I can’t do the work for you,
I can walk with you as you begin to rewrite your story and reclaim your life.

So what does this actually look like?

In our work together, I support you in ways that go beyond just talking things through. Depending on where you are and what you need, we may:

  • Explore identity shifts - who you were, who you are now, and who you’re becoming

  • Work through grief, loss, transitions and emotional weight without rushing the process

  • Use creative reflection tools like journaling, visualization, or expressive exercises

  • Integrate somatic awareness so you’re not just thinking, but actually processing

  • Identify patterns, beliefs, or coping strategies that are keeping you stuck

  • Build grounded, realistic next steps that fit your life now

Some sessions are reflective. Some are emotional. Some are practical.

But all of it is intentional.

Coaching or Therapy?  What is the difference?

Coaching and therapy can both be powerful forms of support. They serve different purposes and many people benefit from one or both at different times in their life.

Therapy is often focused on diagnosis, mental health treatment and working through clinical conditions.

Coaching, on the other hand, is focused on awareness, healing, growth and forward movement.

My work as a trauma-informed grief and life coach supports you in:

  • Understanding what you’re carrying

  • Recognizing patterns, beliefs and emotional blocks

  • Navigating life after loss or major change

  • Reconnecting with yourself and your direction

  • Taking steps forward at your own pace

I hope this answers some general questions of the differences, but more importantly I encourage you to follow your intuition and your heart as you know what the best approach is for yourself.  Whether therapy, coaching or both, I applaud you for your willingness to seek ways to better yourself and your life. Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions or need help determining your next best step here:
